In Lucca there is much to behold. Guinigi Tower with oaks on top.

In Rome the light is harsher. Trastevere.

Park Villa Pamphili in Rome.
Opposite Trastevere.
It doesn’t matter where in Rome you are. You get the light.
Closer to home the light mellows: the view from the archaeological park at Roselle.

“Who are you calling extinct?”
From the car. All alone, and the bird was by itself too.

Orbetello. On St. Valentine’s Day, a supermarket holds an organised flamingo coupling viewing from its roof. For real.
Italians must always burn something.
