It’s the third week of Cee’s Fun Foto challenge on photo components and I’ve got all the colours for you.
Immediately upon seeing Cee’s photo below, I knew what I’d be posting. The bit on the left decided it:
In May we borrowed the all-encompassing colour shade finder (plopping trademark on this name) from the local shop where we buy paints. Not many things are as important in Italy as getting the shade right, that’s why I felt the burden of responsibility when amore told me to choose two exactly right shades and then return the tool to the shop.
Before doing it together with visiting dad, I had some photo fun. But of course I had.

Beautiful rainbows!

What a fabulous paint chip fan! I love the shades of green, and aquas then the corals, yellows, blues, and reds.
But I chose gray brown for my retreat wall.
Scarlet Oat is pretty. Which will you choose?

Thank you, Deborah. Honestly, I don’t remember which one we got in the end. 😀 I have a feeling it was Scarlet Oak indeed.

I live in the blues and greens.
I see your selections are warm — like you 🙂
Pretty subject for a photo. You really can’t beat a color wheel!

Ahh, thank you, Joey! ❤ I like to be thought of as warm. Color wheel is a good thing to call this tool! I was a bit at a loss.

This was fun. I love my color wheel, but never had THAT much fun. I think it would be a great activity to do when my grandkids are here too. Fun post. Donna

Some great photos. I’m curious that the colours are all named in English – the international language of paint charts?

Thank you, Judith. Curious indeed, since the name of this tool is in Italian: Collezione 3001. Must be the manufacturer of paints wishes to have it this way. In Italy, not much else is in English.
