Since yesterday I learned about a haibun, today – without a prompt even – I attempt my first tanka: 5, 7, 5, 7, 7 syllables per each of the five lines. Before they get the idea. And the photos are from a lovely walk yesterday.

Thank you, Dan. π It was a glorious walk without a boar in sight to make us run. π (We only saw one once and it was pursued by hunters, and one other somewhere else, but I keep seeing their marks and am always on the lookout.)
