Thursday Doors, 22/11/18: Door soup for Lens-Artists PC

It was exactly a month ago that I was forced to combine challenges and today I have to again, even though I don’t like doing it. But since I’m travelling in Slovenia, it comes handy.

For those who don’t know, I’ve been regularly posting doors on Thursdays for Norman Frampton’s Thursday Doors challenge for three and a half years. Let’s see:

• On my first blog I posted 50 Thursday Doors posts.
• On my second blog I posted 84 Thursday Doors posts.
• On this, my third blog I’ve posted 44 Thursday Doors posts so far.

That’s a lot of doors.

This week Tina of Lens-Artists photo challenge calls for doors too. What a good idea.

I wish to invite everybody who loves doors to take part in Thursday Doors. Norm posts a blue frog with his doors every Thursday where you click and add your door post. It’s addictive and it makes you pay attention to the world around you more.

In today’s gallery you can find an overview of what you can expect from my doors: Slovenia and Italy, colours and context, mundane and magnificent.

If you post so many doors and if you’re lucky, the Challenger himself will visit you in person and take a photo of you next to a grand specimen.

And when the train door closed upon his exit, a new entrance might have opened in Montreal. Now I only need to pass through.
