Another August is going with the wind and with it my last chance to post last year’s August photos for my 2017 Calendar.
My blog is full of colours at any given time. That’s why I was happy when I saw the theme of this week’s Lens-Artists Photo Challenge and did my best to find the time and get together twenty photos that show the colours of my August 2017. Since I spent last August in Slovenia just like this year’s, the colours I’m saying goodbye now are similar.
In some photos the colours are more obvious, in others more subdued but in all they are natural as is the case with me. More info on locations in the captions.
Happy and a colourful end of summer to everybody!

I think summer will suddenly grow much longer when I return home to Italy, 7 hours to south-west. 🙂 Thank you, Sue!

Thank you, Tina. In this post is my last year’s summer but this year’s has been similar, just longer and even more varied. Photos will keep coming.

Hey, RayNot! Good to see you around. The land without laundry! I believe the rise in temperature will bring back laundry too. Thank you!

I love the decoration on Vurnik House, Miklošičeva St, it makes the building quite special.

Thank you, Emma. 🙂 It is indeed not your typical house. (And there are not many similar in Slovenia.)

Love them all, Manja – vibrant or subdued. Vurnik house and the windows are my favorites, if I must pick some! Enjoy the last of summer!

Great images all, but the well lit building, and that last one by the marina with your Mom…LOVE IT!

Thank you, Deborah! The last photo is already from Italy and mom was not there, just some unknown kids. (Or do you mean the one with mother in Piran in matching outfits?)

That is a ridiculously beautiful collection. I love the little shop toward the bottom, the blazing sunset, the building next to it, and the boats in the marina.

Thank you, Joey. ❤ I live in colours. 🙂 Why do so many photographers only do it in black and white?

I don’t know. Life is colorful, as your photos illustrate! This thread reminds me of The Color Purple. Maybe God gets pissed if you don’t notice the colors.

Now this is colorful. I enjoy making concerts, flowers and water photos too.

Thanks, Bojana. Actually, during a concert I prefer to just enjoy it and usually leave my camera at home. This one was an exception.
