Thursday Doors, 9/8/18: Ljubljana Moste

I have no time at all but I’m not letting a Thursday slip by doorless.

I have manymanymanymany doors and occasions to share, slowly but surely. I’m still in Slovenia and these two weeks have been slow on my blog because amore is visiting and we are spending most excellent time with a variety of friends and family.

These are as fresh as fresh can be. Yesterday the trio of us, bestia included, spent a considerable part of the afternoon at a long time friend’s house. She lives on Love Street and nobody was in a hurry to leave. The doors were only the first to greet us.

  2. Looks like a lovely lazy day, but that second floor deck in the last photo is making me a bit nervous for the people underneath! Hoping it’s just the camera angle …

  5. Hello Manja, good to see back your posts- love that first blue door and the nice 5 hours you spent there. Whale hopping in New Zealand sounds like an unusual vacation:)

    1. Thank you, Junieper! Should be more constant now again. I invented the term “whale hopping” on the spot. 😀 I certainly hope she spots some but doesn’t necessarily land on one.

  6. Whales in New Zealand sounds like a lot of fun. We just got back from spending a few days with some dear old friends who live too far away, so I have think I can relate to what you felt about this visit.

    1. Yeahh, Norm! We need to get in shape for our weekend. 🙂 I have to tell you that my father was quite sad to learn that there were to be no Thursday Doors for two weeks. Obviously he keeps track of his Thursdays with our help as well. 🙂 Good to see you back!

  8. I agree, Manja, that it’s been a crazy, busy summer. It seems like I haven’t visited you in AGES. Glad to hear you are continuing to enjoy a lovely time in Slovenia. Love Street sounds like a great place to live – and visit 🙂

    1. Thank you, Joanne, I’m always glad to see you come over. I still have two weeks over here, but now amore has left and I’ll be free to post more again. That said, mom is dragging me to a concert of her favourite singer tonight. 😀 Those teenagers. 😉 Oh, and Love Street is not its real name, I was merely reminded of The Doors song.

  9. So happy to hear you’re having a lovely sometimes relaxing vacation and spending time with family and friends.
    The blue and yellow combination of the building is quite nice. It’s lovely to see Bestia having a good time too.
