I have no time at all but I’m not letting a Thursday slip by doorless.
I have manymanymanymany doors and occasions to share, slowly but surely. I’m still in Slovenia and these two weeks have been slow on my blog because amore is visiting and we are spending most excellent time with a variety of friends and family.
These are as fresh as fresh can be. Yesterday the trio of us, bestia included, spent a considerable part of the afternoon at a long time friend’s house. She lives on Love Street and nobody was in a hurry to leave. The doors were only the first to greet us.
Closing in.
Amore can’t believe that this time we found it so quickly.
She lives on Love Street.
Be happy and polite.
“Check out this door!” Yes, bestia, a beauty indeed, if a bit blurry.
And here’s Manči (which sometimes my mother calls me too)!
A furry friend, and not a big boxer called Čili who scared him half an hour earlier.
A funky, timeless place.
Bestia is so happy that he lets Manči do everything.
United colours of Aperol.
No wonder that we spent 5+ hours here! Thank you, Tili, and happy whale-hopping in New Zealand!
Thank you, Lisa. Today amore has left to return home and to work while I stay for two more weeks. I love it how every day was different. I’m lucky to have many homes and countries. 🙂
Looks like a lovely lazy day, but that second floor deck in the last photo is making me a bit nervous for the people underneath! Hoping it’s just the camera angle …
Hello Manja, good to see back your posts- love that first blue door and the nice 5 hours you spent there. Whale hopping in New Zealand sounds like an unusual vacation:)
Thank you, Junieper! Should be more constant now again. I invented the term “whale hopping” on the spot. 😀 I certainly hope she spots some but doesn’t necessarily land on one.
Whales in New Zealand sounds like a lot of fun. We just got back from spending a few days with some dear old friends who live too far away, so I have think I can relate to what you felt about this visit.
Lovely doors too 🙂
Yeahh, Norm! We need to get in shape for our weekend. 🙂 I have to tell you that my father was quite sad to learn that there were to be no Thursday Doors for two weeks. Obviously he keeps track of his Thursdays with our help as well. 🙂 Good to see you back!
I agree, Manja, that it’s been a crazy, busy summer. It seems like I haven’t visited you in AGES. Glad to hear you are continuing to enjoy a lovely time in Slovenia. Love Street sounds like a great place to live – and visit 🙂
Thank you, Joanne, I’m always glad to see you come over. I still have two weeks over here, but now amore has left and I’ll be free to post more again. That said, mom is dragging me to a concert of her favourite singer tonight. 😀 Those teenagers. 😉 Oh, and Love Street is not its real name, I was merely reminded of The Doors song.
So happy to hear you’re having a lovely sometimes relaxing vacation and spending time with family and friends.
The blue and yellow combination of the building is quite nice. It’s lovely to see Bestia having a good time too.
Thank you, Deborah. Happy Bestia was my highlight as well. 🙂 Normally he doesn’t get along with other male dogs as much and it was so sweet to observe them.
Thank you, Dan. I admit I thought of you upon reading some readers’ concerns about the iffy balcony. Obviously it was nothing you felt needed mention so I’m at peace.
Yeahhh, Tili is here! 🙂 Hush, hush, you don’t know these people – if you call them, they will come! 😉 But as you can see, some of them are afraid for your safety under this balcony… They don’t know about your mojo. 😉
Nice doors, but the doggies stole the show for me. It’s nice when our pups find a playmate. Bestia and Manci looked like they were having a jolly good time.
Oh, of course, be my guest, cin cin! I’ve only had two weeks out of Europe (LA and SF) in all my life so I might be biased but I’d say it’s a pretty good frame. 😉
One day when you have some free time, possibly on a Thursday, post a compilation of your doors. Please! 😉 You can write a poem about them too! (I know, I know, you’re a mom!)
Timeless indeed. What a lovely little slice of the world. Am delighted to know that you are surrounded by love busy in the company of good friends.

I am a bit worried about the sagging balcony, in the last photo!!!

Emma, just pretend you didn’t see it. 😉 It will do fine without any of our worrying.

Your dedication to TD is admirable!
I must say, though, all these dogs do distract from the doors a bit. They are adorable together!

Thank you, Pistachios. I know, I couldn’t not include the dogs. They were just too happy and cute. 😉
