Now that February is here, let’s look at last year’s, as is my habit.
I have only four photo folders for this month. February is short and it’s not yet as comfortable to stroll around due to cold winds.
All photos were taken in my town, on the beach or in Il giardino dei tarocchi (The Tarot Garden) 15 minutes away. This is an amazing sculpture garden by French artist Niki de Saint Phalle who lived and created there. It’s where the first four photos are from.
They are followed by some animal and plant friends. And the moon.
The only other people appear in artwork. Or on blogs. I must like it this way.
This is a part of my 2017 calendar in the making. January was here.
The moon is nice, but I still like the pups better 🙂

Thanks, Dan. I bet you hear that a lot on your blog. 😉 I like them because their similarity shows how nature takes dog genes and makes up a dog.

I do, Manja. I think I could just post pictures of Maddie and the cats and I’d have as many, if not more followers.

That moon shot really is great! Flamingos… maybe they are too thin for the lens??? 😄😄

Hihih. Thanks, SMSW. Imagine catching the flamingos flying in front of the moon!

God…such a beautiful weather! And the art…I love the women*, btw squatting is recommended by many Ayurvedic teachers. But it’s difficult to squat for long time :)) I’ve tried 😂😂

Hehe, thanks, RayNot. True, the weather here is nothing to complain about. And I said they are squirting, not squatting. 😉 You know, from where the milk comes. 😀

Gosh…hahaha I make those girls feel like: “wtf Ray?!!”
Oh forgive me, – Ray would answer, – but next time think about squatting instead haha
Maybe they could do both? :))

I love the tiled mosaic pillars and that see-saw! The moon is not too bad either. 🙂

I guess we already talked about Niki Saint Phalle… ….and I love her Tarot Garden. Funny, last week I bought at a museum a photo book and a DVD about that garden. Pfff.. …if I would have know that before, I better could have saved the money because of you wonderful post. 🙂

Hihihi, sure! 😉 Thanks, Markus! I’ve been posting photos from here regularly since I’ve visited The Tarot Garden more than 10 times, so far. Here is another post from there with links to more posts at the bottom:

The garden is closed until April but you can come on March 3rd, it’s free entrance from 9 am to 12.30 pm. 🙂 In April it opens normally, daily again, for a fee.

Great photos Manja. The Tarot Garden is always a visual treat. Does it change from year to year, or do you just manage to keep finding something new and interesting to focus on?

Thank you, Joanne! No, it doesn’t change at all, they maintain it well but nothing new is added. I have noticed that on the last couple of visits I was more concentrated on the visitors and how they fit into the familiar environment. I think I’ll make a love post for Valentine’s from there. Love is in the air there!
